Plot

The Acolyte is described as a "mystery-thriller" that will explore the dark side of the Force and the secrets of the High Republic era. The series is set in the time of the High Republic, centuries before the events of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. At this time, the Jedi Order is at its height, but there are dark forces lurking in the shadows. The series will follow a group of young Force users as they are trained by the Jedi. However, as they learn more about the Force, they will also come to understand the dark side. The Acolyte is set to be released in 2024 on Disney+.
